Lonsdor JLR Key Device Not Match Key Area Error Solution

Problem:

Got the Lonsdor 2015-2018 JLR smart key. Tried to program this key with Lonsdor K518ISE device but failed. It said the device does not match the key’s area. How to fix it?

Solution:

You may get the Chinese version Lonsdor JLR key. The CN version key is not compatible with the global English machine.

How to check Lonsdor JLR key version?

Go to Generate Smart key- Land rover- 2015 to 2018, hit Modify configuration.

Read key information.

Check key information. You will see key ID, PSN and software version. Send the PSN to us to verify the key version (whether it is EN or CN version)
