Lonsdor K518ISE key programmer has successfully programmed a smart key on a Jaguar XJ. Pictures and procedures attached below.
Guide:
Connect K518 host with vehicle via OBD socket
Turn ignition on
Select Immobilizer->Jaguar->XJ->Smart key->Add smart key
communicating
Turn ignition off
Lonsdor K518 Read vehicle VIN,part number,software version
Identify number of keys programmed in car:2
Press OK to program a new smart key
Keep the smart key to be programmed in hand
Programming, press the Unlock button of the smart key once within 5 sec
A new smart key has been programmed
Programming completed
Test the new smart key
Success!!!
